Cranberry Lake Trail

From the Columbian Road parking area (across the street from boat launch), walk north across Columbian Rd and downhill to Oswegatchie River. Cross the river on a pedestrian-only bridge and then turn right onto River Road. Walk past the dam and between the lake and the DEC shop/office building. Continue up a mowed grass trail in northeast direction and tie into NYS Route 3. Go east along shoulder of NYS Route 3 through the Hamlet of Cranberry Lake, passing a public beach on your right, and the Clifton Community Center and Stone Manor diner on your left. Continue another 0.9 miles past the Community Center to the Gilbert Tract trailhead parking area on your right.
