Geocaching the Cranberry Lake 50

Geocaches on the Cranberry Lake 50 Trail System:

Peavine Swamp- About one mile from the trailhead of the Peavine Swamp on Rt.3

Wanakena Footbridge- It is placed on the Wanakena footbridge.

Site 41- Placed near a Lean-to on the Peavine Swamp trail.

Geocaches near the Cranberry Lake 50 Trail System:

Cat Mountain- It is placed on the summit of Cat Mountain.

Burntbridge or Bust- It is placed near a lean-to on the Burntbridge Pond.

More geocaches are in the process of being placed. We have four main goals:

1. Continuing to place traditional geocaches along the trail system, focusing on interesting locations.

2. Complete a multicache which covers all of the Cranberry Lake 50 loop.

3. Compile a list of waypoints for popular locations (mountain tops, lean-tos, camp sites).

4. Recruit other geocachers to help in the placement and care of more geocaches.
